A trailblazing pro surfer and five-time World Champion. Carissa made history as the first Olympic gold medalist in surfing at the Tokyo 2020 Games, proudly representing her home state of Hawaii and cementing her role as a global ambassador for the sport.

    From 2019 to 2024, I had the privilege of working with Carissa during some of the most pivotal moments in her career. This included supporting the production of her acclaimed documentary film, RISS, celebrating two World Titles, two Olympic campaigns, and her heartfelt retirement from the WSL Championship Tour.

RISS: A Film about More Love with Carissa Kainani Moore

Directed by renowned surf filmer Peter Hamblin, in partnership with Red Bull Media House, RISS is a 40-minute short film on champion surfer Carissa Moore. It follows Carissa as she works to capture her fourth world title and an Olympic berth. It also creatively looks at what has shaped her throughout her life.
