Hometown: Maui, HII had the privilege of leading the public relations strategy for Kai between 2019-2024, working to established him as a globally recognized name. At the heart of this effort was the creation of the "Life of Kai" documentary series. The series not only captures Kai’s incredible achievements on the world’s biggest waves, but also offers a close-up look at his process—revealing how he meticulously calculates every move. In addition to his feature in HBO’s “100 Foot Wave,” this ongoing media strategy has connected Kai with top-tier media outlets and influential creators, firmly accomplishing the goal we set out to achieve.
