After successfully activating the series across Red Bull's Owned and Managed channels, I secured a partnership with WSL to publish the series and its supporting content to their channels. DEAR RIDER, THE JAKE BURTON STORY

Dear Rider, an inspiring feature documentary from Red Bull Media House and Emmy-winning director Fernando Villena, is a celebration of the life and vision of Jake Burton Carpenter, the pioneer who propelled the sport of snowboarding into a global and cultural phenomenon. The film was produced by Red Bull Media House and distributed on HBO, allowing Red Bull Media House, Burton and HBO to join forces on media strategy.

 

 
 

RISS, a film about surfing champion Carissa Moore, is a powerful story of resilience, self-discovery, and empowerment, showcasing her triumphs and struggles. My decision to adapt the film into three episodes for Refinery29’s YouTube channel was innovative, allowing it to reach a broader audience, particularly young women, through a highly accessible platform. This episodic format aligned with media consumption trends, increasing engagement and making Moore's story resonate beyond traditional surf enthusiasts.


 
 

Kris Bryant’s “Hot Corner” project vividly captured just how challenging and courageous it is to play third base in the MLB. The concept of fielding blazing baseballs highlighted the extreme speeds at which baseballs can travel when ripped down the line—covering 90 feet in as little as 0.6 seconds. This leaves virtually no room for hesitation, demanding flawless reflexes and split-second anticipation. ESPN was the perfect conduit to tell this story, racking up nearly 1 million views on YouTube alone.


 
 

Ryan Sheckler's LIFER video part was a career-defining project, showcasing his talent and commitment through groundbreaking tricks and personal storytelling. Repurposing behind-the-scenes footage into one of Thrasher’s most popular content formats amplified the project’s reach by becoming their most-viewed YouTube video of 2023.


 
 

Red Bull Media House’s livestream broadcast of Exposure 2024, hosted on X Games YouTube channel, elevated the event with world-class storytelling and production quality. The partnership highlighted the importance of inclusivity in sports while providing a much needed platform to emerging athletes. The production was a full team effort, with me playing a key role behind the scenes to broker the partnership.


 
 
 

Two industry leaders merging efforts to showcase the pivotal role that skate shops play in skateboarding culture. I spearheaded this partnership, ensuring the ‘Established’ series authentically resonated with core and new audiences alike.
