After securing multiple AMA Supercross and Motocross championships, Dungey stepped away from the sport as one of its most accomplished and respected riders. Celebrating and honoring his career during this pivotal time in his career was my primary objective from 2017 - 2018.
Homegrown
Homegrown was conceived as a creative celebration of Ryan’s legacy, transforming a 10-acre cornfield into a unique motocross track. The project symbolized his humble Midwestern upbringing to a global sports icon. Efforts to celebrate Dungey during this time included creating a compelling visual narrative of his career, with Homegrown serving as both a metaphor for his resilience and a heartfelt tribute to the values that shaped him. Through my PR communications and content strategy, the campaign brought meaningful reflection to Ryan’s influence and achievements in the sport. This creative and development of this campaign held special meaning to me as I too am from the rural Midwest.
